The Mercyhurst North East Saints women's basketball season ended yesterday after they were defeated by Jamestown CC 79-66.
The Saints finished the season 13-12 overall. At home, they were 9-4. While the Saints numbers were limited, their offensive output was not, averaging 71 points per game.
Sophomore Alissa Johnson led the Saints offense all year, finishing the season averaging 16.9 points per game.
Shaquoia McCray was a presence all year for the Saints and her numbers are just as impressive. During McCray's sophomore campaign, she finished averaging 14.4 points and 14.4 rebounds per game
Sophomore Nia Phillips had another strong season as she finished averaging 11.2 points per contest.
After the season started out 11-3, the Saints battled injuries for the second half of the season, Coach Williams has the teamready to move forward for the 2019/2020 campaign.
