David Marcus is entering his 1st year as the Graduate Assistant Coach. He will be serving as the hitting coach, and also will be helping with recruiting duties.

Marcus is from Whitby, Ontario Canada. He was a four-year starter at California University of Pennsylvania during 2013-2017. He was a captain for the Vulcans baseball team during the 2016 and 2017 seasons.

Marcus had a successful career at California University of Pennsylvania. In 2013, he was a part of the PSAC West regular season championship team. He was a four-time all-conference team selection. He was also a two-time all-region team selection. He finished his career as career .356 hitter with 200 hits, 22 home runs and 167 RBIs, and a career OPS of 1.024. He is currently California University of Pennsylvania’s all-time doubles record holder (56) and also has the single-season record holder in home runs (15) and RBIs (62).

Following his playing career, Marcus began coaching for the Toronto Mets elite travel baseball club as a hitting coach and infield instructor. He coached the 18u team in 2017-2018 and coached the 17u team 2018-2019.

Marcus earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology at California University of Pennsylvania and is currently doing his graduate studies in organizational leadership at Mercyhurst University.
