Two dozen student-athletes earned 2019 All-OCCAC Baseball recognition, announced by the conference office on Monday (May 13). Of the twenty four athletes selected, three of them were Saints.
In 41 games played Padraig O'Shaughnessy hit .361 with an on base percentage of .497. O'Shaughnessy also cranked out seven doubles, two triples, and seven homeruns on the year. The first baseman/outfielder was also named to the ALL-FRESHMAN TEAM.
Robby Korff also put together a solid season, posting a .328 batting average. Korff finished the season by smacking nine doubles and six homeruns.
Brandon Scheidemantle was a huge part of the 2019 squad as well. Scheidemantle hit a team leading 17 doubles, while batting .319 on the year. He also connected for three homeruns out of the leadoff spot.
The Saints will return eight freshman as they look to secure the Region III, Division II crown next season.
