The Saints could not overcome a few bad plays and left 10 runners on base Friday afternoon in Florida.

Mercyhurst took a 1-0 lead in the first inning, but left Northwood back in the game with a few errors over the next two innings. Northwood would use some timely hits to put the game away in the late innings.

Mercyhurst had plenty of chances, but couldn't come up with the big hit when they needed it.
